We had a variety of sessions about catalyzing change (see program below) such as finding common ground between math and special educators, promoting neurodiversity as an asset, and adopting an ethnomodeling approach to teaching. Our keynote speaker, Eric Milou from Rowan University, talked about lessons learned from the pandemic. We also had a panel discussion on teacher shortage with various participating stakeholders.
